Women's Aid is a leading organization in the UK that champions women's rights and provides support to survivors of domestic abuse. According to Women's Aid, one in three women over the age of sixteen will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, and at least one woman a week is killed by a current or ex male partner.

Domestic abuse is a gendered crime deeply rooted in societal inequality between women and men. It cannot be separated from women's rights or the wider social attitudes that normalize abusive behavior and reinforce gender inequality. Supporting women's rights means challenging these inequalities.

Women's Aid provides vital services and support to survivors of domestic abuse, including expert training and educational programs that reach communities, workplaces, schools, and universities. The organization also holds the UK's largest national data set on domestic abuse and uses this research to inform policy and advocate for the experiences of survivors.

When you support Women's Aid, you're helping drive change at every level - from supporting survivors today to challenging the attitudes, systems, and inequalities that allow domestic abuse to persist.

A supporter of Women's Aid, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared their personal motivation for supporting the organization: "As a man, I feel a sense of duty to be an ally to women, and what better way to do that than to raise funds for Women's Aid? Also, my mum was a victim of domestic abuse, and I know that, sadly, many women experience domestic abuse throughout the world, on top of all the other problems women face, often at the hands of men. I wanted to make a positive impact and do what I can to help create a better world for women, girls, and by extension everyone else.
